What is the cost of the course?
We do not operate for profit and we aim to provide minimal cost for all of our sessions. Most courses are offered at no cost. Select courses have a modest cost associated for licensing and materials. We offer the lowest possible cost to participants while also ensuring course sustainability for our organization.
How far in advance of a course should I register?
We leave our courses open until 3 days before the start date. That being said, our classes can often fill up quickly and we encourage you to register as early as you can. If needed you can always cancel your registration before a class.
Is there an option for an entire team to sign up?
While team learning is a wonderful way to expand your team’s strength, our registration process only allows for individual registrations at this time. We would like you to encourage team members, as appropriate, to register individually for a course.
Another option is to contact us (by email at centreforpeopledevel@hhsc.ca) about organizing a team learning session with any of our pre-existing course offerings.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel, we ask that you please cancel at least 3 days prior by emailing us at centreforpeopledevel@hhsc.ca or by calling (905) 521-2100 x74329.
Free Courses: We appreciate you providing cancellation notice so that we can offer this space to other HHS staff who are on the waitlist for this program.
Paid Courses: Cancellations made 5 days, or more, in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 2-4 days in advance of the event date will incur a 20% fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours, or less, in advance of the event date will incur a 30% fee.
