Yellow Belt Training for Quality Improvement

Quality and process improvement methodologies are systematic approaches that can be used to address problems in an organization. Two methods for quality and process improvement are Lean and Six Sigma. Lean methods focus on eliminating waste in a process or system. Six Sigma uses statistical analysis in an effort to reducing variation and defects.

This course aims to provide attendees the fundamental concepts of these two methodologies and how attendees can use them to work through a quality or process improvement project. A focus of this course is practical applications of these methods in a hospital setting.

*This course requires students to bring a laptop to complete Excel-based exercises.  To receive a Certificate of Completion, students must attend 100% of the sessions.*
