Patient Experience – Foundations for New Leaders

This course explores the essential role leaders play in shaping exceptional patient and family experiences across HHS. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, participants will review and discuss the principles of Patient and Family Centred Care, service recovery, patient relations, and meaningful engagement strategies that support partnership with patients and families.

  • Explain the foundations of Patient and Family Centered Care at HHS
  • Understand their role in navigating and supporting the patient relations process as new leaders
  • Respond confidently to service concerns using the HHS i-Care model for service recovery
  • Gain familiarity with HHS Patient and Family Engagement and Partnering Framework
  • Identify practical strategies for engaging patients and families in your area
  • Lead with a patient- and family-centered approach in everyday  interactions and decisions.
