KNOWLEDGE TRANSLATION IN ACTION

Gaps between what is known from research evidence and what is done in clinical practice are common. The goal of the knowledge translation (KT)/implementation science field is to reduce these evidence-practice gaps to improve patient outcomes.

These sessions provide you with an introduction to the Knowledge to Action cycle. This user-friendly process was instrumental in kicking off the KT field in health in Canada.

Through this interactive course, you will learn how evidence-based knowledge can be integrated and used in clinical and hospital practices to improve outcomes for patients and improve outcomes at HHS.

This course will be offered virtually in two parts, each 2 hours in length. Participants should plan to attend both virtual sessions.
