Intro to Anti-Racism Contextualizing the Anti-Racism Policy at HHS
The objective of this course is to expand on leaders’ understanding of the Anti-Racism Policy at HHS. Leaders will begin to situate the Anti-Racism Policy in the socio-political context of health disparities and racial discrimination at work.
Learners will also be encouraged to engage in reflections on their role in supporting anti-racism at HHS.
Who is this course for?
This course is open to leaders, informal leaders and emerging leaders.
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Expand on leaders’ understanding of the Anti-Racism Policy at HHS.
- Learn about the root causes of racism and their responsibilities as leaders
- To identify and define: race, racism, racialization, health equity
